The lilac petal departs the Twig, falling past the branch, A shadow crossing the moon, Falling between the mansions On the river bank, crossing the Slow moving chocolate water, Falling past the rows of Sleeping roses and the empty Greens to land on the small Of my back as my arms collapse And the long held hot breath Makes steam of the night.
